Disability at Work, a Conversation with Randy Lewis

March 14 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am

Randy Lewis, former Senior Vice President at Walgreens will share evidence of the “return on investment” when disability becomes a centerpiece of a corporation’s diversity and inclusion strategy to enhance workforce productivity and the bottom line. The Walgreens experience resulted in changes in policies, practices, and culture that permeated from senior management to supervisors to an inclusive workforce.  Randy Lewis will share with invited corporate senior executive leaders his experiences, knowledge and expertise on building a more inclusive workforce; not because it is the charitable thing to do, but because it makes business sense, giving companies a competitive edge.

After a presentation by Randy Lewis, there will be an opportunity for interactive discussion.  Attendees, facilitators and Randy will share in conversation relevant to the Pittsburgh region, identifying challenges, opportunities and overall strategies to increase employment opportunities for persons with disabilities while building a stronger larger workforce.  The goal will be to identify actionable items that each corporation may explore individually or as a group regionally.

Who should attend: Senior level executives, decision makers who have the authority and ability to affect policy change and hiring practices.  (For example, CEOs, Operations Managers, Chiefs of Human Resources).
